Welcome to the Museum of the Future!

We think museums should be fun, really fun! The museum will give you a glimpse into our future and let you try and play with new technology that could soon become part of our everyday lives. The museum is suitable for both children (from age 6) and adults.

Our opening hours are:
Weekdays: 16 – 19 Saturdays: 10 – 17  Sundays: 11 – 17.

How much does it cost? Can I purchase tickets at the entrance?

The price is 210 SEK for adults and 185 SEK for children under 18 years, as well as seniors over 65.

Please note! Children under 7 years of age usually don’t have much fun with us.

It’s possible to buy tickets directly on-site, but they may be sold out, so we recommend purchasing in advance via our website. We can only accept card payments, even for drop-ins.

Is the museum primarily for kids?

Absolutely not. The museum is for everyone. Children enjoy the exhibition based on their capabilities, but it is designed to entertain adults as well.

Is the an age limit?

We have no age limit, but children under 7 years may find it difficult to appreciate the museum. We expect parents to supervise their children. There are fragile items in the exhibition.

How long does a visit take?

Most visitors stay at the museum between 70 and 140 minutes. During school holidays, each visit is limited to two hours.

Opening hours?

We are open from 16:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays, and from 11:00 to 17:00 on Sundays.

Can you accomodate groups of children?

We are sorry to inform you that we cannot accommodate groups of children under the age of 10 (school classes, after-school groups, larger parties, etc. with more than two children per adult). We reserve the right to deny entry even with purchased tickets (which will of course be refunded).

Can I store luggage with you?

Yes, we have large lockers suitable for suitcases and other items. Storage is included in the price.

Accessibility, pets etc.

Companions enter free of charge at the museum upon showing a certificate from a healthcare provider, assistance company, or municipality and do not need to purchase/reserve a ticket. The museum is wheelchair accessible. Our toilet is not wheelchair accessible, but there is one in the shopping center. We currently do not allow pets.

Where are you located?

The Museum of the Future is located inside the Globen Shopping mall. We are situated below Dressmann. The nearest subway stations are Globen and Gullmarsplan. Two hours of free car parking is offered in the shopping center. Our address is Arenavägen 55.
